The purpose of the licensing and periodic inspections carried out by Tukes is to contribute to the efforts to ensure that establishments do not pose a risk to people, property or the environment.


Any risks involved in the location, use or modification of establishments are examined during the licensing process. It is also ensured that, once an establishment is closed down, it will not pose any risk in the future either.
