Consumers have the right to safe products and services, which may not present a risk to consumers' health or property. Such a risk can concern the product or its use. In a service it can concern the performance of work as well as materials or equipment. The Product Safety Act covers goods and services which are intended for the use of consumers.
Report observations and help others
If you suspect that a product or service which you have used presents a risk to your health or property, contact

- your municipal health inspector (ask your local authority for contact information and times).
If necessary we can have a product tested and require a trader to repair defects or stop selling the product. In this way you can help other people to avoid accidents.
