The requirements of the Refrigeration Supplier Decree are monitored by the supervisory authorities under the Environmental Protection Act (86/2000) such as regional environment centres and municipal environmental protection committees. In addition, compliance with the annual leakage inspection requirement is monitored by the occupational health and safety authorities and local authority health inspectors in case of refrigeration devices used in the storage of food.
