Operators must notify Tukes before starting operations. Every operator must appoint a suitably qualified responsible person. The notification must state the responsible person's qualifications and list the equipment and tools employed.
If the notification contains all the required information, Tukes will send an approval certificate and add the operator to the list of operators on its website.
