Tukes promotes the safety of pressure equipment by monitoring compliance with the pressure equipment statutes, disseminating information, providing training and taking part in research and development. We maintain a register of pressure equipment for supervisory purposes. All in all, 40,000 items of registered pressure equipment are in use in Finland.
