Map files

The downloadable files on this page (7 TABs and 7 MIFs) contain the basic data and location in the general coordinate system of

the valid, new and probationary areas of claims, reservations and concessions;
the permit applications for ore prospecting, gold panning, reservations and mining filed according to the provisions laid down in the New Mining Act of Finland.

For downloading you need MapInfo or ArcView software. The files are primarily intended for professional use. On the right on the relevant page, there is a link to the general map service.

New mining register data are brought to this page along with major updates in the information.
